Printers not detected in Easy Network:

1. Ensure that both computers have the same domain name. To check the domain name for each computer, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. In the Properties dialog box, click the Computer Name tab.

2. When you connect to a new network, EasyNetwork displays the New Network Detected alert. If this is your trusted network, ensure that you select Trust this network in this alert when it appears on both the computers.

If you have already selected Do not trust this network in the New Network Detected alert, do the following to view the printers:

1. Under Common Tasks in SecurityCenter, click View Recent Events.

2. In the View Recent Events pane, click View Log.

3. In the left pane, click Internet & Network, and then click Inbound Events.

4. In the list of inbound events select an event where the Source IP is the IP of the gateway the user is currently connected to, and click on Trust this address at the bottom right corner of the pane.

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools" tab.

2. On the drop down menu, select "Internet Options".

3. On the next screen, click on "Advanced tab"

4. Scroll down. Under "Multimedia section", put a check mark beside "Enable Automatic Image Resizing", "Enable Image Toolbar", "Show Pictures" and "Smart Image dithering".

5. Click Apply and then click OK.

If the issue still persists, please perform the following steps:

1. Open McAfee SecurityCenter.

2. Click Parental control and click "Configure" in the right pane.

3. Click Advanced.

4. Click on Image Analysis

5. Select the option "Off" to turn off the image analysis.

6. Click Apply.

If the issue still persists, please perform the following steps:

1. Open McAfee SecurityCenter

2. Click Internet & Network and then click on "Configure" at right pane.

3. Click on "Advanced" button and then click on Web browsing protection.

4. On the Ad, Pop-up, & Web Bug Blocking pane, unselect the Block advertisements that appear on Web pages when

you browse the Internet check box.

5. Click OK.

Cannot view pictures (Legacy):

1. Right click on M icon and select the McAfee Privacy Service

2. Click on the Options.

3. Select the Ads blocker tab and uncheck all the options.

Disable image analysis:

1. Double-click the taskbar icon to open Security Center.

2. On the SecurityCenter Home pane, click Parental Controls.

3. In the Parental Controls information section, click Configure.

4. On the Parental Controls Configuration pane, click "Advanced" button.

5. On the Global Parental Controls pane, click "Image Analysis".

6 On the Image Analysis pane, uncheck "All Users" to unblock potentially inappropriate images

for all users.

Cannot see images in emails:

If you are using Outlook express, please follow the steps given below.

1. Open up Outlook Express.

2. Click on Tools then Options.

3. Click on Security.

4. Under Virus Protection, below the download images, please uncheck the option "block images and other external content on the HTML email".

5. Click ok and apply.

If the issue is not resolved after unchecking that option, please remove the checks from everything under Virus Protection.

6. Click ok and apply.

If you are using Outlook, please follow the steps given below.

1. Open up Outlook.

2. Click on Tools then Options.

3. Click on Security.

4. Uncheck all the options after clicking on "Change Automatic download" settings .

5. Click ok and apply.

Cannot connect to Internet/ no internet connection:

-Click 'Start' button -> 'Run'

- type regedit

-Click 'OK'

-From the left hand side navigate to the following location by clicking the '+' beside each name.

-Now on the right hand side you should have a large listing of numbers.

-The will be one entry named '*', right click this entry and select 'Modify'

-Change the value from '770AF253-DBB1-4da4-99C0-D6D397F83892' to 'Ignore' without the quotes.

After making this change, please reboot your computer and try your browser and email access again.

McMapi.dll or mskolplg.dll error in Outlook:

Windows users may encounter this Microsoft Outlook error after having uninstalled McAfee SpamKiller. Microsoft Outlook generates this error when it attempts to access SpamKiller’s McMapi.dll and/or MskOLplg.dll files, and can’t find them. To solve the problem, you’ll need to change the settings in Microsoft Outlook.

To remove the McMapi.dll and/or MskOLplg.dll references in Outlook,

1. Open Outlook

2. Click Tools from Outlook’s toolbar, and then click Options.

3. In the Options dialog box, click "Other" tab, and then click on the "Advanced Options" button under the General heading.

4. Click the Add-In Manager button at the bottom of the dialog box, and then un-check McAfee SpamKiller, and McAfee SpamKiller Exchange Extensions.

5. Click OK to finish.

Unable to send email:

Go the MSC >> Emails & IM >> configuration >> Email Protection is Enabled >> Advanced >> Trusted Email Programs. Please find out wheather OE is Allowed or not

Banned IP address/ Trusted IP:

1. Right click on the M icon on the Taskbar and select Open Security Center.

2. Click on 'Internet and Network' and click on 'Configure' on the right pane.

3. Expand 'Firewall protection is enabled'

4. Click on the 'Advanced' button.

5. Click on 'Trusted and Banned IPs' on the right pane.

6. Select the 'Banned IP Addresses' from the drop down menu on the right pane.

7. Click on Add button.

8. Select Single IP Address and type the IP Address.

OR

8. Select IP Address Range and type the range in 'From IP Address' and 'To IP Address'

9. Additionally, you can select the " Rule expires in:" and type the number of days.

10. Click OK.

Cannot send/receive emails --Outlook 2007:

1. Start, run and type in the following command:

outlook.exe /promptimportprf \\localfolder\outlook.prf

2. Answer yes to the prompt and reestablish your parameters for email again.

3. A warning: You end up losing your profile stuff like email address . Ignore that.

Cannot Send -- Outlook 2007:

Under Tools -> Account Settings -> Account (Double clicking on each email account) -> More Settings -> Outgoing Server Tab, uncheck “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”.

1. Register two important Outlook files. Go to Start > Run and type regsvr32 OLE32.DLL

You already registered INETCOMM.DLL

2. Disable Outlook Addins. Go to Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options -> Addin Manager or COMM/Addins and disable the addins.

3. If the issue still persists, create a new Outlook profile.

4. Repair Outlook. With Outlook open, go to Help -> Detect and Repair.

5. If the issue still persists, reinstall Outlook. Go to Add/Remove Programs and highlight Microsoft Office. Click on Install/Uninstall: A menu will pop allowing you to choose repair or reinstall.
